TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Check in time is after 2pm and checkout is by 10am.
The rental units are non-smoking.
Pets are not permitted in the rental units under any conditions.
(a) A booking must be accompanied by a deposit.
(b) If a booking is made 10 weeks or more before the letting is due to start (the “Rental Start Date”) you must pay a deposit equal to the sum of 50% of the letting fee plus a security deposit at the time of the booking.
(c) If a booking is made less than 10 weeks before the Rental Start Date you must pay the full letting fee plus a security deposit at the time of the booking.
A security deposit of £200 for each rental unit is required. The security deposit is fully refundable within 14 days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:
(a) No damage is done to the rental unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
(b) No charges are incurred due to illegal activity, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
(c) All rubbish is placed in the recycling bins and dustbins at the end of the letting.
(d) Good care is taken of the rental unit and it is left in a clean and tidy condition including dirty dishes etc. placed in the dishwasher and cleaned.
(e) All keys are left in the key safe.
(f) All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
(g) No linens or towels are lost or damaged.
(h) No early arrival or late departure.
(i) The total number of people staying in the rental unit does not exceed that stated in the booking.
(j) To permit Lordship’s Barns reasonable access to the rental unit.
(k) To respect the privacy and well-being of occupants of nearby properties and not to cause an annoyance or become a nuisance. Complaints from such occupants about your behaviour may result in Lordship’s Barns requiring you to leave the property immediately without a refund of any monies paid to you.
(a) 10 weeks before the Rental Start Date (the “Due Date”) payment of the balance of the letting fee must be paid.
(b) Non-payment by the Due Date may be treated as a cancellation.
(c) Lordship’s Barns is not responsible for sending any reminders of the Due Date.
(a) If you wish to cancel the letting you must notify Lordship’s Barns in writing (the “Cancellation Notice”).
(b) A cancellation charge will be payable as set out in the table below.
(c) The security deposit will be fully refunded within 14 days of receipt of the Cancellation Notice.
The rental units require a three night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods.
9. NON-AVAILABILITY OF PROPERTY
(a) If for any reason beyond Lordship’s Barns control the rental unit is not available on the Rental Start Date the letting fee and security deposit will be refunded in full.
(b) You will have no further claim against Lordship’s Barns.
10. FEE CHANGES
Letting fees are subject to change without notice.
The adventure playground is unsupervised and suitable for children aged 5 and over. Please take care when using it.
Parking is limited to two vehicles per rental unit. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking outside the rental units is not permitted.
WiFi is provided but not guaranteed.
Each rental unit has a landline telephone for your use. All charges for calls must be paid prior to departure.
The rental units are on septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to £200.
Lordship’s Barns accepts no liability for loss of or damage to your possessions.
Lordship’s Barns reserve the right to accept or refuse bookings at its absolute discretion.
18.AUTHORITY TO ACCEPT
The person who completes the booking and therefore accepts these terms and conditions confirms that:
(a) S/he is responsible for agreeing to the terms and conditions on behalf of all persons included in the booking, including those substituted or added at a later date;
(b) S/he is over 18 and a member of the party intending to occupy the property; and
(c) S/he agrees to take responsibility for the party occupying the property.
